Adult Sized Crochet Hat Pattern

Adult Sized Crochet Hat Pattern

Materials
- worsted weight/4-ply yarn
- I 5.5mm crochet hook
- yarn needle for sewing in ends

Abbreviations:
St(s) – Stitch(es)
Ch – chain
Ss – slip stitch
Sc – single crochet
Hdc – Half double crochet
Dc – double crochet
Trc – Triple crochet

Notes: I tend to crochet very tight so you may want to use a smaller crochet hook or make less increase rows so your hat doesn’t turn out too big. Also, I only chain 1 at the beginning of each row, but some crocheters chain 2 or even 3 at the beginning of their rows of dc stitches. It won’t ruin the consistency of the hat if you chain more than one at the beginning of your rows. Also, this pattern is for a hat that is quite large.
